These terms apply when you use bomisou.com (the “site”) or subscribe to the bomisou newsletter. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

The newsletter is free. When you sign up, you agree to receive emails from us, about one every two weeks. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of every email. We handle your email address as our Privacy Policy describes.

Please sign up only with an email address that belongs to you.

Our content

The words, photographs, illustrations, design, the bomisou name and logo, and everything else on the site and in the newsletter belong to bomisou or to the people who made them, and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

You’re welcome to read, share links to and quote short excerpts from our work with credit to bomisou. Please don’t copy, republish, sell or adapt it otherwise without our written permission.

Using the site

Please don’t:

Use the site for anything unlawful.
Try to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site or the systems behind it.
Sign up others without their permission, or use bots or scripts to submit our forms.

Links to other sites

The site may link to websites we don’t run. We aren’t responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Purchases

The site doesn’t sell anything yet. When subscriptions to the print journal become available, they’ll come with their own terms of sale, which you’ll see before you pay.

No warranties

We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We may change or pause the site or the newsletter at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, bomisou isn’t liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or the newsletter.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after that, you accept the updated terms.
